Showing Up for Our Youth — On and Off the Field
BROS proudly partnered with After The Game, Inc. for a community-centered softball event that brought together families, supporters, and local organizations for a greater purpose. Held at Eisenhower Park, this friendly game was about more than competition — it was about coming together to support students and families in need.
Events like this reflect BROS’ commitment to meeting young people where they are and showing up for the community in meaningful, visible ways.
What the Event Was About
The After the Game vs. BROS softball event created a fun, welcoming environment for families and community members to gather while contributing to a vital cause. Attendees were encouraged to bring school supplies such as pencils, folders, glue, and other essentials to help students start the school year prepared and confident.
Through sports, food, and fellowship, the event offered an opportunity for connection — reinforcing the importance of teamwork, generosity, and community responsibility.
Why This Event Matters
At BROS, we understand that literacy and academic success are deeply connected to access and support. A child’s ability to learn is impacted not only by mentorship and instruction, but also by whether they have the basic tools they need to succeed in school.
By participating in this school supply drive, BROS continued its mission of supporting the whole child — academically, socially, and emotionally — while modeling service, collaboration, and leadership for the young men we serve.
Community events like this remind us that when organizations come together, we can create lasting impact far beyond the classroom.
Thank You to Our Community
We extend our gratitude to After The Game, Inc., all participants, and every family and supporter who showed up, donated supplies, and helped make this day a success. Your support helps strengthen our village and empowers the next generation.
